Terms of Sale & License

1. The purchase

SpendWellFi is sold as a one-time purchase. Your payment grants you a perpetual, non-exclusive license to install and use SpendWellFi on computers you personally own or use within your household (including a partner's computer for the partner-sync feature). This is a license, not a transfer of ownership of the software.

2. Updates

All updates are included at no additional cost, for the life of the product — both bug fixes and new features. There is no subscription and no paid upgrade; your license never expires.

3. Refunds

We offer a 14-day, no-questions-asked refund. Email support@spendwellfi.com with your Stripe order number within 14 days of purchase and we will refund in full to your original payment method.

4. Restrictions

You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, or publicly host the software or your license; reverse engineering is permitted only to the extent allowed by applicable law.

5. Disclaimers

SpendWellFi is a personal record-keeping and planning tool. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice; projections are estimates based on assumptions you control and on historical data that does not guarantee future results. Always verify important figures against your bank's records.

The software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the software is limited to the amount you paid for it.

6. Your data

Your financial data is stored only on your devices and is your responsibility to back up (the app includes automatic local backups). See our Privacy Policy — we never receive your data.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, USA.
